AISC is presenting a 1-hour course as part of a full-day continuing education event at AIA Houston on Tuesday, December 15. The course, “Multistory Residential: Structural Steel Framing Solutions,” begins at 11 a.m. and is eligible for 1 LU / HSW.
This course will provide an overview of structural steel framing systems in mid-rise and high-rise projects, including case studies that support efficient and economical methods of construction, as well as a comprehensive view of the cradle-to-cradle structural steel supply chain from a sustainability perspective. Topics will include scrap collection, mill production, fabrication, erection, operating energy and deconstruction.
