SEAA Seeks Nominations for Project of the Year Awards

Cooper Steel in Shelbyville, Tenn., (an AISC Member/Certified fabricator and erector) was awarded the 2014 Class II Project of the Year for its work at First Tennessee Park.

The Steel Erectors Association of America (SEAA) is seeking nominations for its 2015 Project of the Year Awards. The competition recognizes steel erection projects that demonstrate complexity or unusual conditions, or that conquered issues and barriers requiring special management team action or performance. 

The awards program is open to projects that were topped out during 2015 (January 1 - December 31). There is no fee to submit a nomination, however, it must be submitted by a SEAA member. 

Projects can be entered in one of four classes based on project scope:

  • Class I: Erection Contract of up to $500,000
  • Class II: Erection Contract of $500,000 to $1 Million
  • Class III: Erection Contract of $1 Million to $2.5 Million
  • Class IV: Erection Contract of $2.5 Million and above
