The Steel Joist Institute (SJI) is hosting a webinar, “Bridging for Open Web Steel Joists,” on Wednesday, February 17 from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. ET. Intended for structural engineers, fabricators, detailers and connection design firms, the webinar will explore various aspects of bridging from the underlying theory to installation details. It will also provide a preview of the upcoming SJI Technical Digest which incorporates significant changes SJI has made to its specification requirements for bridging, as well as new research on the role of bridging in bracing steel joists.
