The more detailed your search inquiry, the more useful will be the results returned. However, simply adding additional words to the search will actually make the search less useful as the search engine will return EVERY article containing any of those words. Instead, please consider using the following search tools:
- Quotation marks (" ") will return only articles containing the exact sequence of words. Example: Entering main material traceability will yield more than 2000 responses. But entering "main material traceability" (that is, with the entry in quotes) will yield only one result.
- AND (note you must use all capital letters) will return results containing all of the search terms. Example: Entering standard practice alternative will yield more than 1800 results, while standard AND practice AND alternative will return only 110 results.
- NOT (note you must use all capital letters) will return results containing the first search term but not the subsequent term. Example: Entering moment connections will return more than 1900 results, while moment NOT connections will return less than 300 results.
