Bayou Sara Swing Bridge

The swing span was over 90 years old and was scheduled to be replaced as part of a program to upgrade all of CSX’s movable bridges. Careful planning and pre-work paid off in the form of an accelerated swap-out of the swing spans, reducing the required track outage to only 14 hours.
