50 years ago, AISC gave the Contemporary Resort Hotel at Walt Disney World an Architectural Award of Excellence!

A monorail line runs right through the iconic atrium, and 13 pairs of structural steel A-frames support a terraced arrangement of steel room modules to make the magic happen.
