PartILLATION: Visions in Steel

PartILLATION: Visions in Steel, a traveling art exhibition celebrating steel in the built environment, debuted in October at the Architecture Center Houston (ArCH). The exhibition, curated by Alex Morales, Associate AIA, AISC's senior structural steel specialist for the Houston market, includes photography and other work of visual artists from across the country that introduces visitors to steelworkers and their trade through portraiture, interviews, sound, and video.

"This exhibit is not only a reminder of the legacy and innovation of steel in our built environment, but also a stage that shines a well-deserved light on the role of our steel craftspeople in the design equation," Morales said. "Design is about the human experience, and I am proud to share this exhibit with designers across the country."
