Rainier Square

Rainier Square

The erection of Rainier Square in Seattle was lightning-fast, thanks to SpeedCore!

It was as easy as 1-2-3:

  1. Steel prefabrication: The fabricator made more than 530 panels of steel plate held together with tie-rods--all offsite.
  2. Module placement: The team transported the assembled modules to the jobsite, hoisted them into place, and field-welded them to form the tower's core.
  3. Concrete fill: As the team erected the panels, they filled each module with concrete--but they could continue to build up as that concrete cured, shaving 10 months off the construction schedule.
