Trans-connect

High-speed trains, electric airplanes, and more--all of these futuristic transportation modalities need a connection hub, and Then Le of Huntsman Architectural Group dreamed up just the solution: one built from structural steel.

In his Forge Prize submission, Trans-connect, Le envisions a multi-modal transit center whose skyport, bus and rail terminals, restaurants, and Airbnb spaces cohesively embrace the future of transportation. Ahead of the final round of judging, Le is working with Casey Brown, president of Zimkor, to further develop the technical aspects of the design.
